Projector23 is a film production and animation studio based in Berlin. Since 2007 we produce documentaries, fiction films, animated short films, image films as well as animation for scientific TV programmes. We are constantly searching for fresh solutions with a character of its own with a special interest on social issues.
Our feature film “Summer Rebels” was shortlisted for the German Film Prize in 2021 and won the German Film Critics’ Award for Best Children’s Film in the same year. The German-Slovak co-production ran in competition at numerous national and international festivals and received various awards. In addition to an international theatrical release (SK/DE/CZ/AT), the film was also licensed by Netflix in several European countries. Our new film projects can be found in the section NEWS.
